RED SON

Conservative Talking Points

She's Back - Clinton seemed professional; she seemed on her game; she seemed like the powerful candidate and now I can't help but think of her as Bill's wife. What created that change in mood? Why none other than her unveiling of a universal health care system. Apparently, she and her strategists are quite confident that they can reinvent this issue and Hillary. Something along these lines perhaps.... "HILLARYCARE II - JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS SAFE TO TRUST BIG GOVERNMENT"

Anti-War Anti-Plan Anti-Common Sense - Hippies stormed the Capitol over the weekend, parading and primping before the anxious media, in an exciting attempt to end the Iraq war. The highlight of this protest was an activity called "die-in", which much to my chagrin wasn't a contest built around designing hippie anti-war tie dyes. What message did they have for Congress? Surrender, surrender, surrender. And what better way to articulate this message than to surrender? 190 protestors valiantly surrendered to arrest during this protest.

Dream A Little Dream - What happens when one dictator falls in love with another dictator? In a few weeks, we shall see as Iran's "President" and resident dictator visits Venezuela's "President" and resident dictator. So many things for these gal pals to talk about and so little time. I'm sure it won't be about attempts to destroy America, but they will probably be bickering over who gets to meet with President Obama first.

Run Michelle Run! - Speaking of Obama, Michelle Obama continues to eclipse her husband's relationship with the press. In her latest interview, Michelle argued that American women would be better off with Barack than with Hillary. I don't understand; he's not a woman. Oh......she means that Obama could represent the people and not just cater to a million splinter groups. Hmmm, me thinks Obama should switch his party affiliation.

Who Is Mike Gravel?? - Just so folks don't think that I pick solely on Obama and Clinton, I feel it is important that we focus some attention on Mike Gravel. Gravel this week stated that he would have no problem telling Americans that they are getting fatter and dumber. Why how dare you??? What would you know about being fat....oh my mistake. And dumb?? It's not like you have had working relationships with Ralph Nader, Noam Chomsky, and an association with a holocaust denying newspaper?? Oh...my mistake again. Kudos to you and your positions, Mr. Gravel.
