Conservative Talking Points

The Third Branch Is Fixed—A Federal Appeals Court has upheld the unconstitutional nature of the District of Columbia's gun ban. Liberals are terrified that the city of D.C. may take this to the Supreme Court where the Court will likely rule for individual gun rights. This ruling would be a striking blow to gun control advocates. With the success of the anti-abortion decision and now the gun ban decision, the time has come for Conservatives to refocus our energy. No longer will we refer to it as the "Circus Court" but instead it will be dubbed "The Supremely Divine Court".

Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Be A Democrat—Ex-Congresswoman, police-assaulter, and foreign policy agitator Cynthia McKinney is considering another run for Congress. Beaten twice and publicly rebuked on a monthly basis, McKinney in the past had a difficult time voicing her liberal views within the esteemed halls of Congress. But hey, that's when we Republicans ran the place. The liberals would love to keep her out, but at the end of the day she will be running as a D. So, I'll throw them a bone and suggest that it isn't too late for liberals to decide if that D stands for Democrat or Dementia.

And Bushy, Cheney, and even Rovey was There—Obama mistakenly claimed tens of thousands of people died in a recent Kansas tornado when it actually was eleven. Obama later blamed it on exhaustion which was apparently coupled with a mystical trip through Oz where he was left clicking his heels, "There's no place like home-grown terror...There's no place like home-grown terror"

Who Tube?—A video hit the web this week that claims that the Democrats' recent troop withdrawal legislation reflects the reality of American failure in Iraq. I'm trying to determine who the author of that video is; some may attribute it to Senator Harry Reid. But why would Americans circulate videos produced by such an obscure Democratic leader? Oh, that's right; it's a video of Ayman Al-Zawahiri, featured on Osama Bin-Laden and Friends. Can't understand why anyone would confuse those two distinct positions.

Publishing This Thought At My Own Risk—Al Sharpton was criticized last week for accusing the Mormon Church of not believing in G-d and questioning the ability of a Mormon such as Mitt Romney to win the nomination. These criticisms would have been more pointed; however, everyone fears Sharpton would organize boycotts of Romney, Mormons, Republicans and of course G-D.
